T TDP leaders slam KCR for sacking Rajaiah
- Grave injustice to women
- Not a single woman in the cabinet
- CM should reveal the corruption allegations against Rajaiah
- Those who opposed T State got berths in cabinet
Hyderabad, January 27: Telangana TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao today alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has “murdered” democracy by sacking the then deputy chief minister Tatikonda Rajaiah from his cabinet unceremoniously.
Speaking to mediapersons at NTR bhavan here on Tuesday, Errabelli accused KCR of insulting the Madiga community by dismissing Rajaiah. He also demanded that the Chief Minister should give details of the alleged corrupt practices of the former Health minister. Errabelli also alleged that barring three, all the ministers in the KCR cabinet are Telangana traitors. Though KCR had proclaimed on the eve of last Assembly elections that a Dalit would be the chief minister of Telangana State, KCR swallowed his own word and became the chief minister himself ditching the Dalits.
Errabelli also demanded that the TRS government order ACB or CB-CID inquiry into the corrupt charges against the Dalit leader as well as the family members of the Chief Minister. “Is it not a grave injustice to women, who played active role in separate Telangana agitation, as the Chief Minister failed to accommodate even a single woman in his cabinet”, he asked.
Stating that newly-inducted Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari belongs to the “Bhaindla” community, a sub-sect in Scheduled Castes, whose population is not more than one thousand in the State, Errabelli alleged that ministerial posts were given to those who opposed Telangana agitation.
Another TTDP leader Mothkupally Narsimhulu alleged that the Chief Minister has dropped Rajaiah from his cabinet as the latter made an announcement of setting up of Health University in Warangal without his knowledge. (NSS)
