Swine flu spreading in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Swine flu siren rang in Hyderabad again. Already one person succumbed to swine flu fever. More than 20 cases have been reported in the last 10 days.
A woman named Manjula (35) died of swine flu on January 5 while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Later, the doctors confirmed that she died due to attack of H1 and N1 virus. Gandhi doctors revealed that since Manjula was admitted to the hospital at the end stage of her illness, they couldn’t protect her life.
On the other hand, 20 swine flu cases have been registered till now this season and five of them are from Hyderabad city and the remaining are from the neighbouring districts of Medchal and Ranga Reddy. The H1 and N1 virus was spreading fast due to increasing cold conditions, doctors said and advised the people to come to Natal Center set up specially in Gandhi Hospital before the illness turns serious. -NSS
