Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin breaks World record

Hyderabad: It is another feather cap for Indian cricket history. Ravichandran Ashwin broke world record in reaching fastest 250 wicket haul in tests breaking Dennis Lille record. It happened in test match held at Uppal stadium between India and Bangladesh.

It took only 45 test matches for this magic off spinner to reach this rare  record. His 250th wicket was of Bangladesh captain Mushafiqur Rahim, Ashwin who enjoys playing in Hyderabad pitch became highest Man of the series winner from India (7 times) surpassing Legend Tendulkar.

Ashwin just missed by a match in reaching fastest 200 wicket holder (37 matches)  and that record stills hold by Clarie Gimmet of Australia( 36 matches).
