Special rituals at TTD on Jan 1, Vaikunta Ekadasi

Tirupati: TTD plans to conduct special rituals at Srivari Temples in Srinivasa Mangapuram and Narayanavanam on the occasion of New Year on January 1, 2017 and also on January 8 Vaikunta Ekadasi.

At Srianivasa Mangapuram, sarva darshan will be allowed from early hours of 3am till 4pm after completion of daily and Dhanurmasam traditions from 12 midnight. Again after daily rituals, sarva darshanam will commence from 5pm to 9 pm.

On Vaikunta Ekadasi day, January 8th, sarva darshanam will commence from 3am to 4pm and again from 5pm to 9pm after daily rituals like Tomala, Koluvu and Panchanga sravanam. Srivari along with consort Bhudevi will also be paraded on Bangaru Tiruchi 8.00-9.00am. In view of the special events, the daily Kalyanaotsavam has been suspended on January 1st and 8th.

At the Srivari Temple, Narayanavanam on January 1st sarva darshanam will commence from 4am to 8.30pm after daily rituals of Tomala seva, Koluvu and Panchanga sravanam. Sri Andal Viratotsavam will be conducted from 6.30am to 7.30am and Snapana Thirumanjanam from 9am to 10am and Srivari Gramotsavam and Asthanam from 5.30pm to 7pm.

On the occasion of the two special events, HDPP and Annamacharya Project will conduct cultural, bhakti sangeet and devotional programmes in the above sub temples of TTD. –NSS
