Shirdi Saibaba gets Rs. 3cr in old notes

After demonetization, Shirdi Saibaba temple is among top temples which registered record revenue donations from devotees. The revenue of Shirdi Samsthan was about Rs. 3 crores from Novembe 8 to 24, according to Samsthan chairman Suresh Havari. There were 47 hundis in the temple premises at different places. After demonetization, the Centre has asked temple authorities to reveal their revenue post announcement. Shirdi Samsthan chairman disclosed that the temple received Rs 1.27 crore in old Rs 1000 notes  and  Rs 1.57 crore in old Rs 500 notes during the  above period.
