Sex Tapes: AAP Minister sacked
New Delhi: Delhi CM and the supreme leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal sacked his child-welfare and social justice minister Sandeep Kumar from cabinet after receiving an “objectionable CD” featuring him. The CD contained a sex tape and similar objectionable images related to Sandeep Kumar, reports say.
On Wednesday at about 8 pm, the CD was delivered to Kejriwal’s house and half an hour later, he posted on twitter that he was sacking Sandeep Kumar from ministry, who was the youngest minister in the cabinet.
The CD allegedly showed 34 year old Sandeep Kumar in a compromising position with 2 women in a nine minute video, also contained 11 photographs. The CD was leaked earlier in the evening to some media channels, and a copy was sent to CM Kejriwal, according to the sources.
Some believe that the AAP has had possession of this CD for days now, but sacked Kumar only after media broke the news to public.
AAP went into a huddle. A meeting was held at CM Kejriwal’s bungalow in Delhi at night to decide the further course of action.
Mr Arvind Kejriwal in his first post tweeted, “Recd ‘objectionable’ CD of minister Sandeep Kr. AAP stands for propriety in public life. That can’t be compromised”; in his second post tweeted, “Removing him from Cabinet wid immediate effect”.
Sandeep Kumar is the third minister to be sacked in the past 19 months of the AAP rule. Asim Ahmed Khan was the first to get sacked following corruption allegations, while Jitender Singh Tomar was sacked next for allegedly submitting fake degree certificates.
