RTC Bus Driver Dies in City, while at the Steering wheel

Hyderabad: An RTC bus driver died of fits while on the steering wheel on the busy Narayanaguda bridge in the city this morning. A major mishap was, however, averted as the bus was stopped at the end of the bridge as the traffic signal was on red,  at Bagh lingampally junction.

The driver, Rasool,  collapsed on the steering wheel and died in minutes,  before the conductor and passengers noticed him and came to his rescue.

It may be recalled that another driver Saidulu working with Khammam depot,  also died while driving the bus,   near Nakirekal  five days back.  He suffered heart attack and collapsed on the steering wheel after stopping the bus safely off the highway.(NSS)
