Rowdy Sheeters In Demand In Nandyal Assembly Bypoll
Kurnool: The by-election to Nandyal Assembly Constituency has become a matter of prestige for both the main contenders, ruling Telugu Desam Party and the Opposition YSRCP.
Reports on Thursday suggested that the two parties are devising strategies to win the election by “hook or crook”.
According to a report published by a popular news daily on Thursday, District TDP President Somivetty Venkateswarlu, addressing a meeting of party workers and others, asked them not to fear about rowdy sheets registered against some of them. Venkateswarlu reportedly assured some other rowdy sheeters that rowdy sheets against them would be scrapped if they worked for the Telugu Desam Party.
IT Minister Lokesh Naidu is expected to visit Nandyal constituency soon.
