Rosaiah Visits Apollo
Chennai: Konijeti Rosaiah, former governor of Tamil Nadu, visited Apollo Hospital here on Friday evening. He could not see the ailing chief minister J Jayalalithaa as nobody except the doctors and nurses is allowed into her room.
Rosaiah told media persons that the doctors treating Tamil Nadu chief minister have informed him that she has been responding to the treatment and she needs to be in the hospital for some more time. Jayalalithaa was admitted in the hospital on September 22. Doctors from Britain and AIIMS, Delhi, had visited the hospital and advised the team of doctors attending on her on the line of treatment. O Panneerselvam, who earlier held the forte for Jayalalithaa twice when the courts banned from holding office, was entrusted the responsibility of running the government till the CM returns to office. Acting governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao has made the arrangement purportedly on CM’s advice.
