We Respect Anil Bhai’s Decision: Kohli Breaks His Silence

Indian captain Virat Kohli broke his silence on the ongoing rift between him and ex Indian coach Anil Kumble.

Port of Spain: At last Indian captain Virat Kohli opened his mouth on the rift between him and Anil Kumble.

‘Anil Bhai has expressed his views and he’s taken the decision to step out and we will respect the decision. It’s something that happened right after the tournament. We have created a culture over the last 3-4 years that whatever happens in the change room, we’ve tried to maintain the sanctity of change room,” Kohli said.

He further added that he has respect for Kumble for what he did to Indian cricket and nation.

Kohli deleted the tweet of 2016 in which he welcomed Anil Kumble as Indian coach. Later they ran into problems. Kohli said ‘No’ to discuss Kumble’s exit impact on Indian team on public platform.

Main reason that created rift between the two is the inclusion of Jadhav in the 4th test against Australia as per sources. There was no exchange of words between these two for the past six months.

Now it is upto Kohli to deliver in the series against West Indies after the Team India failed miserably against Pakistan in ICC final.
