Rajamouli’s Gesture Towards His Hometown

Baahubali director Rajamouli is not one to forget his place of birth. He has gone back to Raichur and also visited Bellary, both in Karnataka state, where he watched the mega film. He donated funds for development of Bellary.

Hyderabad: S.S.Rajamouli who is enjoying the success of Baahubali 2 came up with a gesture towards his hometown and Bellary district.

Rajamouli visited Bellary and watched Baahubali flick there recently in a local theatre. After that he donated a cheque of ₹ 6 lakhs for the welfare of Bellary.

The cheque was given to Deputy Commissioner of Bellary and the amount will be used for ‘clean and green’ activities in Bellary.
Rajamouli was born in Raichur district of Karnataka and he did not forget the place after Baahubali 2 became a huge hit.

Rajamouli and Kurapati Sai, producer of Eega, were close friends with Sai belonging to a camp near Bellary. They both enjoyed the flick in Bellary before giving the cheque to commissioner.
