- Complains of chest pain
Hyderabad, January 27: Dr Tatikonda Rajaiah, former Health Minister of Telangana, has been hospitalized on Tuesday due to chest pain. He joined Apollo Hospital here after feeling giddiness. He is reportedly improving. Doctors attending on the former minister said that there is no major health problem and he would get well soon.
Dr Rajaiah has been sacked by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) on January 25 due to allegations of corruption and dereliction of duty. He was also accused of indulging in activities that are detrimental to the administration. However, Rajaiah has been claiming that he is innocent and he did no wrong. He did not say anything against the CM and said the latter is like a father figure for him. Kadiam Srihari, Warangal MP and former minister in TDP government, was sworn in as minister in place of Rajaiah. Srihari was made deputy CM and was given education portfolio.
