Rahul’s Tour is Political: Dattatreya
HYDERABAD: Lashing out at AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his Telangana visit, Union Labour and Employment Minister, Bandaru Dattatreya today accused the former of taking up a political voyage.
Addressing a press conference here, Dattatreya sought to know the Congress leader’s response on the suicides of farmers across the nation during UPA II regime.
The Congress party’s inefficiency provoked the suicides, and the UPA Government failed to address the grievances of the farmers, he alleged. The Congress leaders should abstain from political criticism and make constructive suggestions to the NDA Government at the Centre, he said.
However, we are not ready to tolerate meaningless comments of the Congress, Dattatreya said. Rahul Gandhi is a novice and lacks awareness and knowledge about anything, he charged. He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was offering transparent governance and would address the daunting issues.
Dattatreya also remarked that for the cause of the workers the ESI corporation is offering the best medical services to 7.50 crore people in the country. When asked, Dattatreya said that Telangana Government was not ready to takeover Sanath Nagar Medical College. (NSS)
