Rahul Gandhi Interacts With AP Congress Leaders
New Delhi: AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi had an interaction with the Congress leaders from Andhra Pradesh here on Tuesday. He met APPCC president Raghu Veera Reddy, Rajya Sabha Member KVP Ramachandra Rao, T Subbarami Reddy, JD Seelam, Kondru Murali and Nadendla Manohar.
It was decided to organise a rally in the second week of June demanding Special Status at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district. Besides Rahul Gandhi, leaders of other parties supporting the demand would speak at the rally. The AP Congress leaders will stay back in Delhi to solicit support of leaders of other opposition parties.
The Congress leaders accused the TDP of creating bloodshed and indulging in murders. The police officers are made to sit on the floor while the TDP leaders sit on chairs. The ruling party MLAs are attacking Tahasildars and other government officers. While the Congress government did Jala Yagnyam, the TDP dispensation is doing Rakta Yagnyam. Raghu Veera Reddy told media persons that the Congress workers are protesting against Amit Shah’s visit since the BJP denied Special Status.
