PV’s son Rajeshwara Rao passes away

Hyderabad: Former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao’s son P V Rajeshwara Rao, 60, passed away in Hyderabad on Monday. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed shock and conveyed his condolences on the demise of Rajeshwara Rao.

Meanwhile, Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya condoled the demise of former Member of Parliament Rajeshwara Rao and recalled his services to the public, literary and cultural world. He recalled his long association and deep friendship with Rajeshwara Rao who was a versatile personality.

The minister said Rajeshwar Rao was a prominent educationist and showed a lot of interest in spreading higher education among all people. As Vice Chairman of Bhagya Nagar Khadi Samithi, Rajeshwar Rao propagated the ideals of freedom struggle and great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed deepest condolences to the family members of the bereaved. -NSS
