PV Sindhu Accepts Babu’s Job Offer, Not KCR’s
Hyderabad: Rio Olympic 2016 silver medal winner, star shuttler P Sindhu opted for Andhra Pradesh rather than Telangana for government job. Her parents hail from AP.
Sindhu will be appointed as Deputy Collector in Amaravati according to sources close to her. Sindhu was given a job offer from AP and Telangana governments after she won silver medal in Rio Olympics. She was also offered Rs 3 crores cash award and 1000 sqyds residential plot near the capital region by AP government.
Sindhu, who was then working as deputy manager in BPL, did not respond to the offer given by Telugu Governments. But she recently met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu during National Women’s Parliamentary event held at Amaravati and expressed her consent the working in AP.
21 year old Sindhu may be made an IAS in coming five years, as special consideration. There were speculations about Sindhu’s nativity when she won the silver medal in Olympics, with her parents belonging to AP and Sindhu born in Hyderabad, capital of Telangana. Sindhu put an end to these speculations by saying she is an Indian.
But her parents want to see her in the game for a long time with a kind of job that doesn’t affect her career.
