Purandeswari Rules Out Joining YSRCP
Hyderabad: BJP leader D. Purandeswari condemned baseless rumours on her joining YSRCP before 2019 elections.
I would rather retire from politics if that kind of situation arises, Purandeswari said categorically, putting an end to the gossip circulating in social media for a few weeks. Chinnamaa clearly stated that she has BSN following the footsteps of her father NT Rama Rao and husband Dr D. Venkateswara Rao. She made it clear that she will contest 2019 elections on BJP ticket. She lost in Lok Sabha elections in 2014 contesting from Rajampeta constituency on the BJP ticket.
Purandeswari, former Union Minister in UPA-II government, blamed social media for irresponsible behaviour of postings. She left UPA and joined BJP after Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated prior to 2014 elections.
