Hyderabad: Police have on Saturday recorded the deposition of Vikram Goud, son of former Congress minister Mukesh Goud, who was found with gunshot wounds at his house in the earlier hours of Friday under mysterious circumstances.

It is learnt Vikram has maintained that some unknown assailants had shot at him and escaped.

Task Force DCP Limba Reddy and Banjara Hills police had gone to Apollo Hospital on Saturday to record the deposition of the former minister’s son.

What Vikram Goud has said will be crucial to the case. Police are searching for the gun used in firing the shots. They have found no evidence of anyone coming into the house from outside. They are hoping to collect some technical evidence in case the minister’s son shot himself or if anything else had happened at his home.
