Kozhikode: PM Modi will reach Kozhikode, Kerala for a 2 day visit on Saturday. He will fly to Karipur in the afternoon where he is scheduled to address a public rally on the Kozhikode beach in the evening. Later he will also participate in the National Council meet.
According to the sources, the entire government, including the PM’s Office will function from Kozhikode, Kerala for 2 days, since many of the Central Ministers are participating in the National Council of BJP.
As the nation continues to reel from the Uri terror attack, the terrorism issue is likely to dominate the BJP Conclave. PM Modi is set to make his first public address since the deadly terror attack on an Army base in Uri in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed.
The party itself sought to focus on the pro-poor agenda. BJP President Amit Shah asked its state governments to execute the schemes aimed at the welfare of the poor in the centenary birth anniversary year of its ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
“It is an occasion for the party to rededicate itself to Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s ideas”, said BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav.
