PM arriving in Hyderabad on Friday

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in the city on November 25 evening and will address a national conference of DGPs and IGPs at National Police Academy in Hyderabad on Nov 26. The PM is to address the police chiefs of all the states on internal security, impact of extremism and terrorism and challenges to be tackled.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and some other Central ministers will accompany the Prime Minister. The Telangana State government is making elaborate arrangements for Modi’s visit. The arrangements include tight security. sprucing up of city roads, uninterrupted power supply, etc. Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma held a high-level review meeting with top officials of all departments, DGP, Intelligence and others at Secretariat on Wednesday.
He directed the police wing to take adequate measures for complete security even as the SPG of the Prime Minister has already inspected the places Modi will be visiting. Rajiv Sharma directed the officials to set up hoardings, banners and welcome arches on thoroughfares. The PM is expected to return to Delhi on November 26.
