Pawan Kalyan thanks AP CM for prompt action
Amaravati: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for announcing several welfare measures for the victims of the mysterious kidney disease in the Uddanam area of Srikakulam district. He welcomed the Chief Minister’s immediate response to the demands that he had made in support of the kidney disease victims. However, he found fault with Minister K Atchannaidu for his failure to understand the severity of the issue for all these years.
Pawan Kalyan tweeted his views in his Twitter account on Saturday and asserted that he would continue to fight for the cause of the victims. He further asked all the political parties in the State to take up this mysterious kidney disease as an important issue in their political agenda and election manifesto. He stressed the need to find the reason for the mysterious disease that had been victimizing people for the past two decades and felt that the sufferings of the people should be minimized on priority.
The Jana Sena chief further wanted the government to explore all possibilities of finding an answer to the issues, besides implementing all welfare measures to help the victims.
Pawan Kalyan said that his party would continue to focus on the backwardness of the three districts of the north coastal Andhra, which is called Kalinga Andhra or Uttara Andhra region.
