Pavilion at IITF showcases Telangana
- Tourism minister to open it on November 14
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government is setting up an exclusive pavilion at the 36th edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF), which is scheduled from November 14 to 27 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Tourism Minister Azmeera Chandulal would formally inaugurate the pavilion at 3 pm on November 14. IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao would be participating in the State Day Celebration at IITF on November 21. The theme for the 36th Edition of IITF is ‘Digital India’. The Telangana pavilion would showcase the various initiatives, policies and projects launched under the Digital Telangana umbrella. The pavilion was designed under the guidance of KTR.
Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department Arvind Kumar, Secretary of Information Technology Department Jayesh Ranjan, Director Digital Media Dileep Konatham are overseeing the pavilion work.
The pavilion’s facade has been designed as a replica of T-Hub Catalyst Building. Features of e-Governance, m-Governance and other IT initiatives like TASK, SoFTNET, T-Hub, and Game Tower are being showcased. A model of Fiber Grid is also being displayed.
A special Video Pavilion has been created to show promotional videos about Telanganatourism, policies and investment opportunities. There will also be government agencies’ stalls and kiosks selling Telangana handicrafts, handlooms, and food.
