Parakala Deployed To Demolish IYR

As is his wont AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has prompted advisor Parakala Prabhakar to water down IYR Krishna Rao’s criticism. The wordsmith does his job in his own way.

Hyderabad: Media Advisor Parakala Prabhakar was deployed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to denounce former Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao the sacked chairman of AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation. Parakala did his best in flaying IYR in his own style. He flatly rejected IYR’s contention that the latter could not get an appointment with the chief minister. He said that IYR had met Naidu three times in recent times. He said when a person is working in a Government he should observe some norms which Krishna Rao has violated. While saying that IYR had worked as an officer of central services for more than thirty years and also as chief secretary of AP, Prabhakar had cut his argument into pieces. He said whatever the comments IYR made on Gautamiputra Satakarni and Baahubali are wholly unnecessary and unwarranted. Nobody has asked him to praise the Government or the ruling party or the chief minister.

Answering questions from media persons, Parakala said IYR has full freedom and liberty to meet CM at any time. He said nobody in the Government objected to IYR meeting Kona Raghupathi, an MLA of Bapatla. The advisor has repudiated all the charges made by IYR while reiterating that he has high respect for the latter.

It is Naidu’s established style to field persons from the same caste to castigate his rivals. He used to ask late Madhava Reddy or Nagam Janardhan Reddy to denounce late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He uses Kapu leaders to attack Mudragada Padmanabham.
