Oppn envious: TRS
- MLC Prabhakar lambasts Cong, TDP
Hyderabad, January 13: TRS MLC K Prabhakar today flayed the Congress and Telugu Desam leaders of Telangana for making “meaningless” allegations against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, Prabhakar accused the two parties of resorting to make allegations for political mileage. “It is shame on the part of these two parties for failing to understand the situation wherein the Chief Minister was trying to develop Warangal into a slum-free city. These parties are envious of the proposed housing program for slum dwellers”, he said, adding that these leaders should mend their ways.
The TRS leader attributed the large number of slums and deprived sections in the society to the negligence of previous governments. The successive governments did not bother about the poor, Dalits, Scheduled Castes, Tribes and destitute people, he charged.
When the Chief Minister is announcing one scheme after other to all these sections, the Opposition parties could not digest, he alleged. He criticized TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revanth Reddy for resorting to mudslinging activity only to be in the good books of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It seems these two leaders were vying to target the TRS Government only to become president of TDP in Telanagana State, he said.
Prabhakar said the people of Telangana would definitely pull up Chandrababu Naidu for suppressing them besides putting them to torture in many ways, he said. The TRS leader also reprimanded Telangana Congress chief P Lakshmaiah for making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister. The Congress leader is making deliberate attempts to criticize the government. He dubbed Ponnala as “blind and dumb fellow” as he fails to see how development works were being taken up in the State.
