One-Year TRS Rule Optimistic: KTR
HYDERABAD: Claiming that one-year TRS rule was optimistic and successful as it traversed on a growth trajectory with introduction of multiple number of welfare schemes, IT Minister Rama Rao today stated that they had offered transparent governance avoiding corruption.
“We have clean plans to transform the state into Golden Telangana and cater to the needs of the people and keep the promises made,” he stated.
Participating in “Meet-the-Press” program here on Thursday, Rao said Telangana State was achieved through sentiment and decades long agitation. The TRS came to power through a democratic process, in which people voted it to power and the one-year rule was very optimistic, he stated.
Taking a dig at the previous Congress Government for destroying education and health sectors, Rao said the TRS Government was making all efforts to set the things right.
“With a focus on welfare, we are spending 27,000 crore rupees. With a long-term objective of all-round development of the state, Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao and his cabinet colleagues were working tirelessly”, he said.
With a perfect plan of action, the TRS Government could tide over power crisis, he said, adding that they were planning to reach a target of exporting IT services worth 1.20 lakh crores rupees.
“During my recent foreign tour, I met 31 companies and fetched over 3,000 crore rupees investments,” he said, adding that IT and industrial sectors will be strengthened to provide more jobs to youth through skill development, he stated.
Young entrepreneurs and many foreign companies are evincing keen interest to come to Hyderabad with huge investments, he said. (NSS)
