Offer Quality Services: Transport Minister
HYDERABAD: Transport Minister Mahender Reddy today asked the Municipal officials to offer quality services to the people.
After inaugurating a Public Service Center and Park, established in a five-acre plot at Circle No. 14 in Kukatpally on Saturday, the Minister said the weather was pleasant and greenery as expected by the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao.
Congratulating the officials, Reddy said it is good news that they collected 113 crore rupees tax in Circle No.14, and at the same time, the officials have the responsibility of extending quality services to the people. He suggested to the officials to issue birth and death certificates within a prescribed time.
Reddy assured the people that drinking water problem in the most populated Kukatpally area would be eased soon. He also discussed with the officials concerned to construct a Railway Road Bridge in the area. He exhorted the people to participate actively in makingthe TRS government’s dream of making Hyderabad city as a world class city come true.
Speaking on the occasion, Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy said that he has already granted 70 lakh rupees from MP Funds for the development of Kukatpally area and made clear that he was ready to grant more funds to develop the drainage system in Kukatpally area.
Local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao said establishment of Park and Library for the benefit of local people is good. “But drinking water problem is severe in the area and the government must supply adequate drinking water to the Kukatpally people after the launch of Krishna Phase-III and Godavari Phase-I water schemes.
Zonal Commissioner Raghu Prasad, Circle 14 Deputy Commissioner Gangadhar Reddy and other officials participated in the program. (NSS)
