JD(U) MPs meet Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu
The MPs belonging to the JD (U) except rebel leaders Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar met vice president and Rajya Sabha chairman on Saturday and submitted a letter seeking removal of Sharad Yadav as the party leader in the Upper House.
However, another JD(U) leader Vasishtha Narayan clarified that Yadav was not removed from the party, but only replaced by RCP Singh. Narayan said that the decision was taken because of Yadav’s recent rebellion and open criticism of Nitish Kumar for joining hands with the BJP.
