Naidu must shun conspiracies and admit: Pocharam
HYDERABAD: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to admit his mistake committed with regard to Cash-for-vote scam. Talking to reporters here he accused Naidu of trying to escape from the crime after being caught red-handed. Naidu must shun conspiracies and admit his mistake, he suggested.
The minister also said that Naidu could not escape from the scam, which sent Revanth Reddy behind bars while giving 50-lakh rupees to Elwis Stephenson in MLC elections. He slammed Naidu Government for the comments of setting up their own police stations and bringing state police to Hyderabad for security.
In spite of his conspiracies, Naidu cannot escape from the case, which was seen by all the people through media, the Srinivas Reddy said. Stating that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has nothing to do with the case, he also said that the TDP leader was caught red-handed for bribing.
“The TDP leaders were noted for adopting a threatening culture, which we did not have. Naidu did not nominate our government,” he said and adding that the party got mandate from the people and came to power. Looking at the developmental programs, many leaders from other parties were joining the TRS Government, he said.
In a separate press conference TRS MLC Ramulu Naik criticized that Naidu could not escape from the case. Naidu is hatching conspiracies to escape and create law and order problem in the city, he alleged. Even God cannot help Naidu, the MLC said. (NSS)
