Naidu Keen To Rope In Junior NTR For 2019 Election Campaign
Amaravati: AP CM Naidu is looking towards, Hari Krishna’s son and film actor NTR to campaign for the TDP in the upcoming general assembly elections to be held in 2019.
NTR was not seen active in the TDP politics after 2009, when he extensively campaigned for the party. The TDP lost the elections and Congress came into power for the second time in 2009 elections in United Andhra Pradesh.
Now, the scenario is different, and Naidu wants to once again utilize the star image of NTR, who has huge fans following in Uttarandhra, Prakasam and Nellore Districts. There was a wide gap between Balakrishna and NTR from 2009, which was proven many times with both heroes’ fans going against each other on social media.
2019 elections are do or die for both the YSRCP and the TDP parties, and Naidu does not want to lose any opportunity and made his thought clear through Lokesh’s interview recently to an electronic medium. Lokesh clearly hinted that he is ready to work with NTR. This is the first proposal from TDP’s side toward NTR.
On the flip side, NTR is maintaining distance from the TDP and spending most of his time with films or with Brother Kalyan Ram. NTR strongly believes that the TDP made his father scapegoat and suppressed his growth, giving importance to his other family members.
Will NTR come back to TDP’s fold and work with Lokesh? Or will he sit silent, as he did in the 2014 elections?
