Naidu approaches HC for quash
- ‘Note for Vote’ case
- Hearing on Friday
Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister has filed a petition in Hyderabad High Court on Thursday requesting for quashing the proceedings of ACB special court. The ACB court had earlier on August 30 ordered the ACB to re-investigate the ‘Note for Vote’ case and submit a report by September 29.
The HC has posted the case for tomorrow to hear arguments.
Meanwhile, TRS MP from Nizamabad Kavita told the press that the ACB would question any body it deems necessary and would investigate thoroughly. She did not name Naidu.
It may be recalled that the ACB court was acting on the petition filed by Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, YSRCP MLA from Mangalagiri constituency in Guntur district. He got the tape containing Naidu’s voice tested at a laboratory in Mumbai which confirmed that the voice belonged to Naidu. The FIR filed by ACB had mentioned Naidu’s name 33 times.
