Mudragada questions CM on Kapu issue
Kirlampudi (AP): Kapu Reservation Porata Samithi leader Mudragada Padmanabham has questioned how long Telaga, Balija, Ontari and Kapu people should wait for realizing their dream for inclusion of their castes in BC list as promised by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu three years ago.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Mudragada alleged that Kapu agitation was being crushed with an iron hand and the government indulged in vindictive action against those who demanded and supported reservation for Kapus. It was not good, he suggested.
Quoting mythological events, the Kapu leader said when two people were involved in a war, only one will get victory. Without naming Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Mudragada said if he tried to defeat them, definitely he would lose the war. He asked what Kapus should do to get reservation?
There is no question of giving up Kapu agitation, it was a do or die issue for Kapus, Mudragada stressed in the letter sent to the Chief Minister. -NSS
