Modi exhorts Pak to compete in ending poverty
- Salutes Armed Forces for Sacrifices
Kozhikode (Kerala): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed “Smruthi Sandhya” here on Saturday. In his first public speech after Uri, Modi said that the country is moving forward with the mantra of “Sabka saath sabka vikaas”. PM openly said that Pakistan is aiming for Kashmir, but they should first look at the land they have already captured- Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Gilgit and Balochistan.
PM Modi said that he wanted to inform Pakistan that before 1947 their leaders used to salute Indian land. He added that in the last few months, Pakistan tried to destroy India by exporting terrorists more than 17 times but our army defeated them. More than 110 terrorists were killed in the past few months by Indian army as they were trying to infiltrate. Leaders of Pakistan used to say that they will fight for 1000 years, but where are they now? Our 18 soldiers had to sacrifice their lives because of terrorists exported by Pakistan. We will not let sacrifices of our soldiers go in vain. We will intensify our efforts to isolate Pakistan completely and globally.
Modi said that he is very proud of Indian Armed forces. He said that terrorism is the enemy of humanity and there is anger in entire country post Uri attack. We need to join our hands to defeat terrorism and one country in Asia is determined not to let this century belong to Asia by aiding and abetting terrorism. Why is it that when India is exporting software, Pakistan is exporting terror?
In a strong message, PM Modi called upon people of Pakistan to compete with Indian in ending poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease. He said that a day will come when the people of Pakistan would pressurize their government to fight against terrorism.
