Mobile Hardware Manufacturing in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Telangana Government today got into a formal agreement with international hardware companies to set up their shops in Hyderabad and provide ample job opportunities to the youth and students in the state.
A delegation of international hardware companies here on Tuesday called on Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao and sought facilities and infrastructure to set up mobile hardware companies that would surely add the efforts of making Hyderabad an international city.
Rao asserted that Hyderabad would become the second place only after China in the field of hardware manufacturing by encouraging the new companies to begin operations soon. He readily agreed to their appeals for all infrastructural facilities and asked for a detailed report.
Rao asked the companies to come with investments and offer two-lakh jobs on priority to the local talent. The chief minister said new industrial policy would help the new companies to rope in with investments and existing ones to expand by getting all permissions in two weeks. Besides, a chasing cell to root out corruption and ensure speedy disbursal of applications. The companies can feel free to come and set up their shops in Hyderabad, he said.
The business delegation expressed satisfaction on seeing the lands at Maheshwaram, Raviryal and Mamdipally in Ranga Reddy district. The delegates had made a similar visit earlier. Those who called on Rao include Indian Cellular Association president, Pankaj Mahindra, Karbonn Mobiles Chairman Sudhir Hasija, Fakscon India and international officials Jo Foulser and Yoyo, Celkon MD Guur and ED Murali and Tony of Water World International.
