Is Missing Engineering Student Ganesh Enacting A Drama?
Valigonda: The missing case of engineering student Ganesh has taken an interesting turn with police identifying his phone signals as coming from Kukatpally area of Hyderabad City.
They had earlier suspected that Ganesh might have been kidnapped or had gone missing. Now, they are wondering where and why he has gone into a hiding. Investigations are going on keeping in view these three angles. Investigating officer Prakash has, however, expressed confidence they would trace him by Tuesday night.
While the father of the student has complained that his son had gone missing from July 6, police have discovered that Ganesh was still speaking often to some of his relatives using his mobile phone. They thus suspect the relatives’ hand in the issue.
It may be recalled that Ganesh, who belongs to Puligilla village of Valigonda Mandal in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, is doing his B. Tech with VBIT in Ghatkesar. He had decided to go for an outing with his girlfriend to Bhadrachalam. Both of them boarded the Manuguru train from Secunderabad Railway Station on July 6, but got down before they reached their destination.
They checked into a hotel and Ganesh suggested to his girlfriend that they should together commit suicide, as his family had not accepted their marriage proposal. Though the girl tried to prevent him, he went out to buy an insecticide. The girl escaped from the room and reached Hyderabad.
Later, she went to the college and informed her friends about it. However, since Ganesh has not returned home, a complaint has been lodged by his father that he had gone missing. Investigations are on.
