Minimum temperatures expected to dip

  • Many places likely to see -2C to -5 C

Hyderabad:  The weather over Telangana State is expected to be mainly dry during the next one week. It is also expected that, with the prevailing dry weather and northerly to north easterly winds over the State, the minimum temperature will fall to below normal (-2  C to -3 C) at most of the places in the State. Now, the average minimum temperature is in the range of 9 C to 14 C. No significant change in the maximum temperature, which will be in the range of 28 C to 32 C, was indicated.

From December 31 to January 6, most places in Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Nalgonda, Yadadri-Bhongiri, Suryapet, Warangal (U), Warangal (R), Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts are likely to see minimum temperatures dip below normal (-2 degrees C to -3 degrees C).

From December 31  to January 6, at many places in Adilabad, Komrambheem- Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Peddapalle, Jagtial, Mancherial, Medak, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally districts, minimum temperature is expected to be below normal (-3 degrees C to -5 degrees C). -NSS
