Many Pay Last Respects To Srinivas At Mahaprastanam
Hyderabad: The last rites of Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was shot dead in a suspect hate crime in US, were completed at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.
In a special vehicle decorated with garlands carrying Srinivas photo, along with the huge crowd of family members and friends, the body was brought to Mahaprasthanam to pay last respects to the techie. In a stoic silence, hearts heavy with extreme weight of sorrow, body was moved from Srinivas house to the vehicle with tears.
Union Minister Dattareya, MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, Cine actor Rajasekhar and wife Jeevitha visited the funeral ground and paid their respects.
Earlier, T State transport Minister K. Mahender Reddy, AP NRI affairs Minister P. Raghunadh reddy, BJP MLA Kishan Reddy, Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar visited Srinivas’ house and paid floral tributes.
Ministers condemned the attack on Indian Techie and urged union government to take necessary steps for the safety of Indians. Raghunath Reddy felt that incidents of hate crime increased after Donald trump took charge as US President.
