Man spying for Pakistan

JAMMU: A man spying for Pakistan was arrested from Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district. He is said to have passed on information about troops’ deployment and movements to Pakistan.
Two Pakistan SIM cards and a map showing troops’ deployment were recovered from his possession.
According to SSP, Samba, Joginder Singh, based on information received from Military Intelligence, a special search operation was conducted and Bodh Raj of village Changiia was apprehended in Samba district.
The SSP added Raj was seen roaming suspiciously in Jerda village near the Indo-Pak international boundary and on seeing the search party, he tried to flee. But the police had chased and caught him.
A case has been registered against the accused under Section 13 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Official Secrets Act.
