Mahesh’s bilingual slated for release in June
Hyderabad: Maheshbabu had very recently suffered a serious setback with his latest release Brahmotsavam was proved a big dud at the Box Office. In order to revive his past glory, Maheshbabu joined the hands with a Tamil director Murugadoss, one of the most successful technician. Murugadoss too had promised to elevate him in a new look and sketched a character as an intelligence officer.
One more interesting point in the film is that for the first time, Maheshbabu is doing a straight Tamil film and the film is being made as a bilingual and is being simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. Moreover, Maheshbabu is dubbing his own voice in Tamil as he was born and brought up in Chennai and he could speak Tamil fluently.
As per available information ‘Spy’der’ is the title under consideration and both the Tamil and Telugu versions will have the same title for easy promotions. Rakul Preet Singh is pairing up with Maheshbabu for the first time in this film and popular director Surya of ‘Khushi’-fame is playing the villain’s role in the movie. There are indications that the first look poster and also the motion poster would be unveiled on April 14 and the film is slated for release on June 23 as Eid Special. The film unit had left for Vietnam from Chennai and the next schedule would begin in Vietnam on March 24.
