License Of F Club Cancelled, Other Pub Owners Warned

The pub, incidentally, is in Film Nagar area of Jubilee Hills. Other pub managements have been warned against any unauthorised activities on their premises. Actor Tarun, who is stated to have run a pub earlier, is the next celebrity to be interrogated on Saturday.

Hyderabad: Excise Enforcement Department on Saturday warned pub owners of stringent action if they allow any illegal activities on their premises. The department asked them to be wary and pass on information regarding any supply of drugs.

Pub owners and their managers were not only summoned and questioned by SIT officials on Saturday, but also issued guidelines on running their pubs.

Reports said not all pub owners attended the meeting. According to sources, officials will be summoning them again. If they do not turn up this time also, action will be taken against them.

It is learnt that pub managements were issued notices based on information given by actor Subbaraju.

It is the turn of actor Tarun to be questioned on Saturday. Incidentally, Tarun too is understood to have run a pub earlier. Sources said the actor was fully cooperating with the investigators.

F Club License Scrapped

Meanwhile, the licence of F Club, a popular pub in Film Nagar area of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, has been cancelled “with immediate effect.” An order issued by SIT on Saturday stated the pub’s licence stands scrapped “for violating regulations”.

In a separate instance, SIT sleuths on Saturday took two more people into custody in the drugs case. Md. Osman and Arnav Mandal were arrested for possessing 20 grams of cocaine.
