Speaking to the media after the meeting, Ramakrishna Rao said Swamyvari Kalyanotsavam would be held on December 25 and the Brahmotsavalu would start on January 22 with Patnam celebrations. They will conclude on March 26 with Agnigundalu.

The Telangana government will do the necessary arrangements and provide facilities as lakhs of devotees will attend the Jathara. The JC and MLA said swiping machines would be used at several counters to solve the cash problem. The government would also set up Micro ATM centres during the Jathara.

They directed RTC officials to run special buses from Vemulavada temple to Yadagirigutta through Komuravelli temple. They directed Siddipet, Gajwel-Pragnapur and Husnabad RTC Depot officials to run buses from Komuravelli to Kondapochamma temple on every Monday and Tuesday. The RTC officials have to take steps to stop the buses at welcome arches on Rajiv Rahadari, they said.

They directed the officials concerned to do repairs to the R&B and PR roads before Brahmotsavams begin. They asked IB officials to prepare proposals to transform the Mallanna Cheruvu, near the temple, into a mini Tank Bund. They directed medical staff to set up special camps with adequate medicines to serve the devotees and officials concerned to set up mobile toilets to facilitate the devotees who stand in queues. The review meeting has resolved to provide Godavari river water for drinking to the Mallanna devotees during the Brahmotsavams.

After the review meeting, the Mallanna Swamy Brahmotsavams wall poster and Kalyanotsava Invitation were released and it was decided to give wide publicity  to the Brahmotsavams. – NSS
