Komati faults Governor for lauding KCR
Sangareddy: Senior Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has alleged that ‘praises’ were not suitable for Governor post. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Komatireddy said it was not proper to Governor ESL Narasimhan to shower praise on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao.
He said the Congress party would run the Nizam Sugar Factory after coming to power in 2019. The Chief Minister was not fulfilling the assurances made before the elections, he alleged and said that KCR went back on his assurance given during the elections that the government would run the Nizam Sugar Factory.
Komatireddy said that the Youth Congress would take up various programmes in a phased manner against the problems caused by demonetization of big notes. He said that Youth Congress would take up Rachbanda programmes in villages on January 16 and 17 and later it will give memorandums on the problems of the people to BJP public representatives.
On January 18 and 19, they will give memorandums to Governor and Collectors, on January 20 and 21 they will take up signature campaign and from January 21 to 25, they will take up state-wide agitation programmes. On January 28, the Congress party will take up national-level agitation. -NSS
