Kohli greets soldiers on Twitter

Visakhapatnam: India’s batting super star Virat Kohli became the latest icon to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative Sandesh2Soldier. This is a noble effort to pay tributes to Indian soldiers who risk their lives everyday so that we enjoy a sound sleep.

Virat Kohli, who reached Visakhapatnam with the Indian team to play the fifth ODI against New Zealand, tweeted a video with the caption, “Whenever you see a jawan, salute them. We get to celebrate festivals & live in peace because of them. Jai Hind.” The tweet can ve seen at: https://twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=imVkohli

Kohli’s senior Virender Sehwag had also expressed similar feelings on the Indian soldiers earlier. https://twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=virendersehwag
