Kodandaram Demands Filling Of Two-Lakh Jobs Lying Vacant
Khammam: The Telangana Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof. Kodandaram demanded to fill two-lakh vacancies lying vacant in the state. He was addressing the meeting on unemployment organized by AIYF in Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetram in Khammam on Wednesday.
Kodandram took objection to the announcement made by the Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao on Independence Day and said that it was not proper. He pointed out that two-lakh jobs are lying vacant in the state. He demanded that an employment calendar should be announced and the jobs should be filled according to it.
Kodandram also said that reservations should be implemented in private companies and to see that locals are incorporated in them. He observed that they were in the front row during the Telangana movement and now is working on fulfilling the aspirations of 1,200 youth who sacrificed their lives for the state.
Kodandram criticized that the government ignoring the real goal is working for commissions in Mission Bhageeratha and resorting to attacks in Nerella for sand contractors.
