KCR rebuts Cong charges, calls Pragathi Bhavan pride of State
Hyderabad: Flaying Congress members for stating that the new Camp Office was built with as many as 150 rooms, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stated on Tuesday that it is the pride of Telangana State and not that of his own. “Pragathi Bhavan is not his own house and is the official residence of the chief minister,” he said.
During a discussion on the housing scheme, KCR rejected the comment of Congress member Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who had said the Camp Office has 150 rooms. “The new Camp Office is the asset of the people of the State and not of KCR”, he reiterated.
The Chief Minister slammed the Opposition members for trying to belittle the Camp Office issue. Foreign delegates, VIPs and many others of prominence used to visit the Camp Office and it should reflect our pride, he remarked. He also said Pragathi Bhavan will provide space for international level conferences and meetings also. The members of the Opposition are stuck in the negative mindset and talk and trying to malign the image of the government, KCR rebuked. –NSS
