KCR Presents Progress Report At A Mammoth Meet
Warangal: ‘I will strive till my last breath to build A ‘Golden Telangana’, said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) addressing a mammoth rally here on Thursday.
Presenting a progress report (Pragati Nivedana) to the people on the eve of the 16th birth anniversary of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), KCR has listed the achievements of his Government. He said he had solved the dreaded power problem within six months of coming to power. The State is now surplus in power, he said.
The Chief Minister has spoken of Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha, the flagship programmes taken up by the TRS Government soon after formation.
Administrative reforms were long overdue and 31 districts have been carved by way of decentralisation. More mandala and revenue divisions have been created, he said. KCR has rightly claimed credit for clearing the farm loans as promised in the elections. He gave details of the measures his Government has taken to revive rural economy.
KCR has blamed the Congress leaders for creating hurdles in the way of irrigation projects by going to Green Tribunal and courts. He said with the blessings of the people, TRS would win in 2019 elections as well and implement all the development and welfare measures in right earnest. KCR’s rhetoric suggested that early elections are likely.
Rajya Sabha Member K Kesava Rao has welcomed the gathering. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has conducted the meeting. Another Deputy CM Mohammad Mahmood Ali also spoke thanking the CM for thinking of raising the reservations for Muslims to 12 percent.
