KCR wanted to make use of the occasion to meet the PM with all-party delegation to press the demand to make a law formalizing the categorization of Dalit community for the sake of reservations in jobs and legislatures that are earmarked for the Scheduled Castes. Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu had supported Krishna Madiga, the leader of Dalit movement which has been insisting of categorizing the community so as to undo the injustice being meted out to Madiga community. He spoke at a meeting organized by Krishna Madiga at Jantar Mantar recently saying that it is his responsibility to convince the Union government to go for the law.
