KCR hosts lunch for Kerala CM: Both Exchange Views
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday hosted lunch to his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan at Pragati Bhavan. Both the CMs exchanged views on a wide range of issues ranging from ease of doing business to law & order, Telangana welfare schemes, tourism, health tourism, beauty of Kerala nature, IT and so on.
The Kerala CM has all praise for the programmes, schemes launched by the TS Government in general and for becoming No 1 state in the country in the ease of doing business category in particular. KCR explained on several queries put forth by Vijayan.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, IT Minister KT Rama Rao, MP Balka Suman, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, chief advisor Rajiv Sharma, chief secretary SP Singh, DGP Anurag Sharma, Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy, Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, CMO senior officials S Narsing Rao, Shanti Kumari, Smita Sabharwal, Bhoopal Reddy and others participated.
Land for Guest House at Sabarimala
During the meeting, CM KCR took the opportunity to take up the matter regarding allocation of land for the construction a guesthouse for pilgrims from Telangana in Sabarimala, with his Kerala counterpart.
The CM informed Vijayan that both the State governments have already signed a draft MoU in this regard, which was pending with the Travancore Devasthanam Board and wanted the Kerala CM to expedite the matter and allocate land for the proposed Guest House.
KCR also informed Vijayan that lakhs of devotees from Telangana regularly go on a pilgrimage to Sabarimala every year.
