KCR Has Done Nothing For Farmers: Ponguleti
NIZAMABAD: Telangana YSRCP president and Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy today questioned Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao, who often describes himself as a farmer, whether the latter was not in a position to solve problems of the farmers in the state.
After conclusion of one-day Rythu Deeksha at Kamareddy in Nizamabad district on Sunday, Ponguleti criticized the way the TRS government was dealing with the farmers. He alleged that the TRS government was creating problems for the farmers by providing power to industrialists at the cost of the poor farmers.
Asking the Chief Minister whether he had solved a single problem of the farmers after coming to power, Ponguleti said the former was not helping the farmers by not extending even a single rupee.
Reminding the loan waiver done with a single signature by former chief minister late Rajashekar Reddy, Ponguleti made it clear that he did not take up Deeksha for posts and votes, but over farmers’ problems. (NSS)
