KCR Asks Modi To Help In Muslim Reservations
New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help include the enhanced reservations to the tribals and Muslims in the ninth Schedule of the Constitution.
KCR has met Modi here on Monday morning to request him to help in implementing the decisions of Telangana State Government regarding reservations. He said reservations should be left to the States. The PM and the CM discussed the implementation of various items in the Bifurcation Act. KCR has requested the PM to interlink NREGA with agriculture and rural employment work.
The question of one nation and one election also came up in the discussions. The consequences of demonetisation decision was also discussed.
KCR is scheduled to leave Delhi for Hyderabad in the evening.
