After ‘Katamarayudu’, Power Star looks towards another remake
Hyderabad: It may be recalled that Katamarayudu is the remake of a successful Tamil film of Ajit titled ‘Veeram’. According to the trailer, the film has come out very well and the film is most likely to be a hit in Telugu as well. Director Kishore Kumar Parthasani @ Dolly perfectly penned the script to suit the Telugu nativity and the songs are also quite melodious.
The fans of Power Star are eagerly awaiting the release of the movie. Soon after the release of ‘Katamarayudu’ on March 24, Pawan Kalyan would join the sets of a film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas from April. It is well aware that the Power Star is on a signing spree and had signed the dotted line for a film to be produced on the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and the film would be directed by Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega-fame.
If sources are to be believed, the film would be the remake of Vijay’s Tamil movie ‘Theri’. The Power Star is impressed by the trailer of the movie and reportedly took a decision to remake the movie in Telugu. If this is true, Pawan Kalyan would play dual roles in the movie and one is a powerful police officer role. But an official confirmation is awaited, because, Theri is also being released in Telugu and the dubbed version is titled ‘Police’. In that case, the combination of Pawan Kalyan and Santosh Srinivas will go for the remake of another Bollywood hit film. After that Pawan Kalyan would go for another remake of Ajith’s movie ‘Vedalam’.
